American model Ivy Nicholson is photographed wearing a raincoat and umbrella during a New York photoshoot for American Vogue in 1957. Nicholson blazed through 1950s Europe as a top fashion model before becoming one of the first “superstars” in Andy Warhol’s Factory in the 1960s.
